Golden Packs of Hope
We’re saddened to announce, we have had to close Golden Packs of Hope. It is our desire to once again serve this community in the future.
Golden Packs of Hope partners with community organizations in our area to promote visitation to senior citizens in nursing homes and provides a Golden Pack of Hope to remind each senior that they are valued.
What We Do
Once a month volunteers visit nursing homes in Arvada and Wheat Ridge to throw the residents a birthday party. We play fun games of BINGO and sometimes we even have entertainment. We spend time talking with the residents, showing them that they are valued. Dessert is enjoyed by all at the end of the party. Before we leave we hand out the Golden Packs to any resident that has a birthday during that month.
What is a Golden Pack of Hope?
Golden Packs are birthday bags filled with special birthday gifts (all items are new).

Golden Packs Include:
- Either a blanket, pajamas or a shirt
- One deck of playing cards, dominoes or a card game
- Word find book or Sudoku book
- Chapstick
- Warm socks
- Lotion
- Kleenex
- Shampoo and Conditioner
