Fill a Pack, Fill a Need – This drive aims to fill backpacks with new clothing, toiletries, and comfort items. We provide both the backpacks and a shopping list. Packs of Hope has the ability to make flyers and/or posters for your drive. Please reach out to us if you would like us to make you a flyer that you can print and use. 

Here’s how the drive is organized:

1. Set a start date and an end date for your drive.
2. Decide how many backpacks you will need.
3. Arrange a delivery date with Packs of Hope.
4. We will deliver the backpacks along with the shopping lists that include the return date.
5. Inform all participants about when to pick up the backpacks and when and where to return them.
6. Distribute the backpacks and shopping lists to the participants.
7. Participants can select an age and gender of a child to shop for, using the shopping list to find suitable items for their backpack.
8. After shopping, participants should fill their backpacks with the items purchased and return them on the agreed-upon date.
9. Arrange a pickup date with Packs of Hope for the filled backpacks.
10. We will come to pick up the filled backpacks.

Toys and Stuffed Animals Drive

Toys and Stuffed Animal Drives – 

Stuffed animals can offer a sense of comfort to foster children during difficult moments in their lives. Small toys have the power to distract them and bring a touch of joy, even amidst the uncertainty they are experiencing. For teens, adult coloring books and fidget spinners can serve as helpful tools to alleviate stress and provide a sense of relief. Ultimately, these items are meant to provide comfort and something tangible for these children to hold onto as they navigate through their challenging circumstances. Please reach out to us if you would like us to make you a flyer that you can print and use. 

Here’s how to organize this drive:

1. Select items from the list below for collection:  

   – Baby Toys: Small toys, baby-safe stuffed animals, rattles, and developmental toys.  

   – Stuffed Animals: Stuffed animals that can fit inside a backpack.  

   – Small Toys: Toys small enough to fit inside a backpack, such as Legos, Barbie Dolls, action figures, cars and trucks, and developmental toys.  

   – Pre-Teen and Teen Items: Adult coloring books with colored pencils, fidget spinners, and Rubik’s cubes.  

2. Set a start and end date for the donation drive.  
3. Choose a location for collecting donations.  
4. Promote your drive to raise awareness.  
5. Gather the collected items.  
6. Contact Packs of Hope to arrange for the pick-up of donations.

Diapers, Pull-ups, and Wipes Drive

Diaper, Pull-ups, and Wipes Drive – We provide backpacks for babies up to 18 months that include diapers and wipes. For toddlers aged 2 to 5 years, we include pull-ups. During uncertain times, children may regress and wet the bed at night, so we offer pull-ups for both daytime and nighttime use. Diapers, pull-ups, and wipes are essential items included in our backpacks. Please reach out to us if you would like us to make you a flyer that you can print and use. 

Here’s how to organize this drive:

1. Set a start and end date for the donation drive. 
2. Choose a location for collecting donations. 
3. Promote your drive to raise awareness, including adding the sizes of the items you’re collecting. 
4. Gather the collected items. 
5. Contact Packs of Hope to arrange for the pick-up of donations.
