OUR PROGRAMS
How we serve our community.
Fill a Pack, Fill a Need
Packs of Hope delivers over 400 backpacks each month to nine counties in the Denver area. Backpacks are given to children from newborn to 18 years old. Each Pack of Hope includes a shirt, pants, sweatshirt, pajamas, socks, underwear, toiletries, a book, and a toy. All items in the packs are brand new and are specific to the size that the child needs.
Mentorship
We have created a mentorship program for youth with court-ordered community service. We provide a safe, inclusive space where they feel valued and understood. We are able to host six to eight youth twice a week. Our program offers not only an opportunity to fulfill service hours but also receive mentorship, tutoring, and resources to help them and their families heal and thrive.
OUR IMPACT
Powered by Volunteers, Supported by a Caring Community
Packs of Hope is entirely run by dedicated volunteers and funded through generous donations and grants. In 2023, with the support of over 1,500 volunteers contributing more than 10,000 hours, we donated 4,945 backpacks to children in need, helping make a lasting impact in our community.
